01The Brief

Sync-o-Matic is a media experiment that synchronizes multiple videos into a single coherent sequence using audio analysis — aligning separate clips by their shared sound rather than by manual editing.

01

The idea

When several people film the same moment, aligning their clips by hand is tedious and imprecise. But the shared audio is a common clock — if you can read it, you can sync the footage automatically.

02

The probe

Sync-o-Matic aligns separate clips into one coherent sequence by analyzing their shared sound, replacing manual editing with audio-driven synchronization. It's a small, fast probe into a new interaction, not a product.
