Zendesk provides a comprehensive API allowing developers to extend Zendesk with widgets and hook into Zendesk and connect it to third-party applications. It is implemented as plain XML or JSON over HTTP using REST. Furthermore all accounts have various methods to customize logos, messages and various look-and-feel elements.
