Competitor: NetCom Unveils New Electronic Catalog System for Auto Industry
LAVAL, Quebec — Canadian firm NetCom has launched a new electronic catalog system covering all of the major auto parts brands sold in North America.
NetCom Chronos is actually the third generation of an electronic catalog system exclusively dedicated to auto parts. New system upgrades are the result of recommendations submitted by users over the past eight years. Redesigned as a Web-based application (no installation or CD-ROM required), NetCom Chronos will continually be upgraded over the coming months.
Relying on functionalities that are primarily search-focused, NetCom Chronos offers efficient performance and browsing in what it claims is “the largest AAIA-certified electronic catalog directory on the market.” Catalogs are imported within a maximum of 48 hours, and the free e-cat includes more than 100 million applications and 4,000 product lines.
NetCom says its primary mission is developing close partnerships with manufacturers in order to offer data of an unparalleled quality.
